Her story
Vita has lived with RSD/CRPS for more than 35 years, alongside fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, and other painful conditions. Her work is grounded in the understanding that pain changes a life—but it does not have to erase the possibility of meaning, connection, or joy.
As a rehabilitation counselor, author, mentor, and advocate, Vita brings a compassionate perspective to the everyday realities of chronic pain. She believes people deserve support that honors both the difficulty of their experience and the parts of life they still want to reach for.

A whole-person perspective
Vita’s approach makes room for the things that can still nourish a life: family, hobbies, laughter, animals, goals, alternatives, and connection. There is no one right path—only the possibility of finding what is workable and meaningful for you.
A steady compass
Every pain story is different. Vita meets people with respect for the complexity of what they are carrying.
Hope does not mean pretending pain is easy. It means leaving room for possibility, even on difficult days.
Small, personally meaningful choices can help create a fuller life alongside pain.
People living with pain—and the people who love them—deserve language, understanding, and community.
Whether you are living with pain, supporting someone you love, or looking for a thoughtful speaker, Vita’s work begins with one steady belief: you are more than your pain.
